Who’s involved?

The HEMO study is led by a team of health economists and statisticians at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and is a collaboration with:

  • INTERVAL study trialists based at the University of Cambridge
  • Policy-makers at National Health Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT)
  • Blood donors
  • Members of the public.

The study draws on the wide Management Group and a range of experts involved in the study. An Advisory Group, with an independent chair, oversees the study.
